The Kofi Annan Dialogues: LIVE will:
Share and capture respective experiences:
Kofi Annan is a global leader with unrivalled experience in international diplomacy and tackling global issues. Global youth organisations are actively engaged in international
dialogues on a number of platforms, and are keen to find solutions and innovative approaches to the key challenges facing their generation and the planet.

Amplify the voice of youth and highlight achievements:
Mr. Annan’s global profile can bring significant attention to the activities and projects being implemented by young people around the world. The Dialogues will highlight current commitments by groups, and encourage further public engagement and positive action.
Promote a new form of inclusive dialogue:
Young people are a critical part of civil society, and yet, they are often overlooked when it comes to discussions and decision-making at the national and international levels. By engaging directly with youth online, Mr. Annan hopes to enable and empower young people and encourage other high-profile leaders to interact with them.
An on-line poll will accompany the series to capture and promote the hopes, goals, priorities and positive ideas of youth around the world on specific issues.
